Cantel’s innovative solutions are founded in more than 29 years experience, which has evolved through a unique approach to software development that includes true technological research as well as solution-oriented development.Our development efforts include significant firsts in applications and systems development (integrated EDI, WIP loading, VMI, integrated report writer).
We have also experimented with some technologies that have met with limited success. For example, we’ve rejected technologies that looked good but did nothing to benefit the user (GUI through Screen Scraper proved too slow and cumbersome for users). Other environments, such as Microsoft Visual Basic were costly to maintain, bug prone, difficult to deploy and lacked performance.
